Alexander Campbell

Alexander is a junior barrister at Thorndon Chambers. He assists barristers at Thorndon Chambers with legal research, drafting pleadings and submissions, reviewing evidence, and court appearances.

Before joining Thorndon Chambers, Alexander clerked for Justice Courtney and Justice Woolford at the Court of Appeal of New Zealand, working on a range of civil and criminal matters. During this time, he was also a Teaching Fellow at Victoria University of Wellington.

Alexander graduated from the University of Auckland with an LLB(Hons) and a BA in Politics and Economics. He received the Senior Scholar Award, Dean’s Academic Excellence Award and Desmond Lewis Memorial Prize in International Law. While studying Alexander clerked at a government department, completed a policy internship, worked as a research assistant, and tutored for a first year law course.
