Victoria joined Thorndon Chambers in 2018. She has been practising litigation for 25 years, the last 13 years of which were at Chapman Tripp. During that time she was a member of Chapman Tripp’s National Board which is responsible for the firm’s overall management and strategic direction, and this included a period as Chair and Deputy Chair.
Victoria’s background is in general commercial litigation but she has market leading expertise in public law disputes, and in regulatory investigations, litigation and enforcement where she provides valuable strategic insight. She frequently advises on business critical matters for corporates and crown agents. She is ranked by Chambers Legal for both litigation and public law.
In 1997 Victoria completed an LLM at the University of Chicago as a Fulbright Scholar. This followed a period at Victoria University completing a BSC in Biochemistry and an LLB (First Class Honours).
